Description
Afghanistan is a special destination for us. It was here, in 2010, that we organized our very first expedition, with participants from Canada, Germany and Poland. A lot has changed since then – both within our company and in Afghanistan itself.
We returned here regularly, with only a short break after the Taliban took power. However, last year’s ride through Afghanistan to Pakistan showed us something surprising – the country is now much more stable than it was during the years of NATO presence. At that time, we visited Mazar-i-Sharif, Bamiyan, Kabul and Jalalabad.
Now it is time for the next stages: Kunduz, Faizabad and, finally, a truly extraordinary place – the Wakhan Corridor. It is a narrow strip of land squeezed between Pakistan, China and Tajikistan, whose borders were drawn more than a century ago by the decision of a British diplomat – and they have remained virtually unchanged ever since.
This is a demanding journey – but in our view, not a dangerous one. It requires an open mind, resilience and a genuine spirit of adventure.
We have been to Sarhad-e Boroghil in 2009, 2010 and 2026, and we intend to return in the years to come. We promise an extraordinary route all the way to Lake Chaqmatin, home to the nomadic Kyrgyz people of the Little Pamir.
This is not an ordinary motorcycle tour.
This is an expedition. One of those journeys that happen only once in a lifetime.
