2026. Wakhan, Afghan End of the World

Book a trip

Description

Afghanistan is a special destination for us. It was there, back in 2010, that we organized our very first tour – with participants from Canada, Germany, and Poland. Since then, a lot has changed – both within our company and in Afghanistan itself.

We kept returning regularly, with a short break after the Taliban took over. However, last year’s journey through Afghanistan into Pakistan showed us something surprising – the country is now far more stable than it was during the NATO presence. On that trip, we visited Mazar-i-Sharif, Bamiyan, Kabul, and Jalalabad.

This time, we head further: Kunduz, Faizabad, and finally a truly special place – the Wakhan Corridor. It’s a narrow strip of land squeezed between Pakistan, China, and Tajikistan, shaped over a hundred years ago by a decision of a British diplomat – and it has remained that way ever since.

This is a demanding journey – but in our view, not a dangerous one. It requires openness, resilience, and a true spirit of adventure.

We were in Sarhad-e Boroghil in 2009 and 2010, taking countless photographs. Now we return to see what became of the children from those images. To go further – beyond Sarhad – to meet the nomadic Kyrgyz living in the Little Pamir.

This is not just a motorcycle tour.
This is an expedition.
One of those that happen only once in a lifetime.
