Join our amazing adventure – we’ll take you to the world’s end. This trip’s final destination is Ushuaia – the world’s southernmost city. Patagonia is a land far far away, harsh and stunningly beautiful. Our route includes some of the most famous roads: Panamericana, Carretera Austral and Ruta 40. We can guarantee many opportunities to tick points off your bucket list, here are just a few: climb the Osorno volcano, witness huge chunks of ice tumble down into water from the Perito Moreno glacier, marvel at emerald lagoons, listen to the thunderous sound of crystal clear waterfalls or look up at dramatic peaks of Torres del Paine. We will traverse the Argentinian Land of Fire – Tierra del Fuego to get to the very end of the continent, to Ushuaia. And, if you happen to be a gourmet, there will be plenty of occasions to enjoy local treats even for the most sophisticated palates: after all Argentina is world famous for the finest steaks and wine. And to top it all – there’s the most unbelievably starry sky you can imagine, nothing like you’ve ever seen in the northern hemisphere.

The route is prepared for large touring bikes, such as BMW 1200 GS, BMW F 800, Honda CRF Africa Twin, the roads mostly asphalt and gravel. Accommodation in guesthouses and hotels. Sometimes in tents.

Day 1 | Valparaiso – Constitución (398 km)

We pick up our motorcycles and follow the Pacific coast to Constitution, a picturesque town by the ocean. Ever tried fresh strawberries and cherries in the middle of January? Well, we’re gonna so you’re in for a treat!

Day 2 | Constitución – Pucon (586 km)

We leave the coast and head for the nearby Andes. Say hello to the famous Panamericana, a road that connects the opposite ends of the Americas, entering the land of volcanoes. Villarica will probably welcome us with smoke coming out from its crater. Night at the only motorcycle camp in America.

Day 3 | Pucon – Ensenda (333 km)

We enter Villarica first thing in the morning and marvel at the view of the Chilean Los Rios – the riverland. It’s a picturesque drive among lakes and rivers to the south. Night at Ensenada – a nice campsite right at the foot of the Osorno volcano.

Day 4 | Ensenada – Hornopiren (120 km)

Prepare yourself to be amazed – in the morning we climb the Osorno volcano, the view of the nearby lake and Puerto Varas is unforgettable. In the afternoon we continue south and after several dozen kilometers we reach the queen of Chilean roads – Carretera Austral.

Day 5 | Hornopiren – Caleta Gonzalo – La Junta (278 km)

This day starts with a 4-hour ferry ride to Caleta Gonzalo. It’s the only way to reach it and probably one of the main reasons why nature stays almost intact there. This is both the end of asphalt and the beginning of a real adventure.

Day 6 | La junta – Puyuhuapi (50km)

We let our bikes rest for a day and go rafting for a change. Futaleufu is the best rafting place in Chile, so there will definitely be a lot of fun!

Day 7 | Puyuhuapi - Cohaique (233 km)

Mountains, waterfalls and a wall of lush greenery. Patagonia has the most abundant and savage forests you’ll ever see – so wild it’s almost impossible to enter.

Day 8 | Coyhaique – Puerto Tranquillo (220km)

Starting the day with a little bit of asphalt and nice mountain views, then moving on to winding gravel roads. In the afternoon we reach Puerto Tranquillo and hop on a boat to look at the most stunning natural marble cathedrals.

Day 9 | Puerto Tranquilo – Chile Chico (170 km)

The day starts with a drive along General Carrera Lake and we bet it will stay in your memory for a long time. It is the second largest and the deepest lake in South America. But what makes it so incredibly memorable is definitely the absolutely unique colour of its waters and breathtaking views they mirror.

Day 10 | Chile Chico - Gregores (425 km)

The moment we enter Argentina the landscape changes dramatically – the mountains disappear as if wiped out, giving way to the Patagonian grasslands. The overwhelmingly open spaces will take your breath away, bringing along the strong side wind. The landscape seems to be absolutely untouched by the modern civilisation, and you can really lose track of time once we enter Cueva de las Manos, a cave with prehistoric palm prints of Indians.

Day 11 | Gregores – Calafate (335 km)

Today’s plan – 70 km ride along the old section of Ruta 40. This is a challenge for motorcyclists, especially if it’s wet and windy. Stunning views ahead – we reach El Chalten and the marvellous Fitz Roy, one of the most beautiful mountains in the world.

Day 12 | Calafate

Around the middle of our trip we could use some rest, and where better to do it than in El Calafate. It’s more than well prepared to welcome tired wanderers – lots of pubs, shops and, above all, the biggest attraction of Patagonia – the Perito Moreno glacier. Let’s just hope for nice weather, and the day will be fantastic!

Day 13 | El Calafate – Torres del Paine (253 km)

We go back to Chile for a short while to visit Torres del Paine National Park, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in South America. The famous three stone towers attract thousands of tourists every year. Unforgettable view if the day’s not too cloudy.

Day 14 | Torres del Paine

Time for a challenge – we let our bikes rest and go for a one-day trekking. After a 7 hour climb we’ll reach a wonderful lookout point. The route isn’t too difficult, but it does require a bit of persistence.

Day 15 | Torres del Paine – Puerto Natales – Cerro Sombrero (393 km)

After lunch in Puerto Natales we head for the Chilean plains to continue our quest to the world’s end. We get to the Magellan Strait and take a ferry to the island of Tierra del Fuego. After 30 km we stop for the night at a hotel in Cerro Sombrerro.

Day 16 | Cerro Sombrero – Ushuaia (418km)

Back to Argentina. We ride along the ocean, have a delicious steak in a cosy little place and in the afternoon we reach Ushuaia. Good asphalt and beautiful views guaranteed. Just like the constantly decreasing temperature.

Day 17 | Ushuaia

Ushuaia is a great city, beautifully located on the Beagla Canal. We get on a boat and visit penguin colonies and sea cormorants. After the trip you’re invited for a delicious fish. Bon apetit!

Day 18 | Ushuaia – Lago Blanco (296 km)

Time to return to Chile. We change asphalt to beautiful winding gravel roads which takes us to Lake Lago Blanco.

Day 19 | Lago Blanco – Porvenir (243 km) – Punta Arenas

After a visit to the colony of royal penguins we take a ferry to reach a nice seaside gravel road. In the afternoon we arrive at a hotel in Punta Arenas.

Day 20 | Punta Arenas

Returning motorcycles, sightseeing of the city. Departure to Santiago in the evening.
