This is something new in our offer: motorbike trip only for women. Many years ago Polish climbers led by famous Wanda Rutkiewicz conquered the highest Himalayan peaks. Nowadays women in the Himalayas do not surprise anymore. We would like to invite all women-bikers for our “Women Only” Himalayan adventure. We will ride through the highest motorable passes in the world… We will do this trip on our own, in women style: wisely, with perfect fellowship. Ola Trzaskowska will guide the trip.

Leh is very interesting town, with a lot of points of interest. We have time to get closer to the Buddhist culture: we visit one of the most impressive monasteries in Ladakh – Thiskey. We also see the old royal palace of the kings of Ladakh – Shey. In the evening we cannot miss Tybetan market. We bet there will be a lot of women shopping – necklaces, earrings… In the meantime we acclimatize to the altitude.

Day 3

Leh – Nubra Valley through the highest motorable pass Khardung La (tent)

Today we cross the highest motorable pass Khardung La (5602 meters). Is it that high in reality? We check it out… On the other side of the pass, we ride down to the Nubra Valley.

Himalaje Ladakh (9)

Nubra Velley local Rider (tent)

We have a Chance to ride on the highest desert in the world – almost 4500 meters. We can check our Enfield skills on the sand dunes. We can even try to ride camels there… For sure we will also visit few Buddhist monasteries, situated in the valley. We also should rest and gather energy for tomorrow long ride to Pangon Tso lake.

Day 5

Nubra Valley – Pangong Tso Lake (tent)

There is the world highest desert in the Nubra Valley. There are sand dunes which we can ride… We test how the Enfields go on the sand. Then we head to another five thousand meters pass – Wari La. This pass is one of the less frequented and most beautiful in all Ladakh. There will be very few villages on the way. Probably we meet just a few people today. It is wild, tiresome and beautiful day! Our destination for today is Pangong Tso. The bordering lake between India and China. It covers more than 4000 square meters. The scenery is magic. Also for yoga practitioners. You will see!

Pangong Tso – Sakti (guest house)

We come back through the third highest motorable pass in the world – Chang La. It will be very high again. Our road in some parts will be paved, in some – gravel. In Sakti we can visit local monastery.

Day 8

Tso Moriri – Tso Kar (tent)

90% of the road today is gravel. We can meet there last Himalayan nomads – Changpa people. We also visit one of the remote schools for children from the Himalayan valleys. It will be great surprise for these kids!

Day 9

Tso Kar – Sarchu (tent)

This is the magic day with great views: we ride through More Plains  and then descend Gata Loops to the. We again cross five thousand meters passes. We are already acclimatized to the altitude, so we should not be affected by altitude sickness. On the More Plains, where the road is flat and good, we can check the maximum speed of our Enfields.

Day 10

Sarchu – Keylong (guest house/tent)

Today we enter Lahaul Valley. Sarchu is the bordering town between two worlds. Most probably we will have to cross some creeks. On the way we cross the 4800 meters pass – Baralachala. Luckily the road to the pass is quite good.
